Real Ama-Ebi from Greenland

Believe or not this is from Greenland.

Many people think Ama-ebi means a big one. But the truth is small one is Ama-ebi.
The big shrimp is called Botan-ebi in Japan and called prawn.
This prawn comes from British Colombia, Canada.
Ama means sweet and ebi means shrimp.
The taste is not like sugar sweet but it is sweet taste.
My opinion? It’s good, Just think it is from Greenland, there is not factory, no contaminated water.
It is just clean place and the taste should be good.
But many people expect fried head, right? This ama-ebi comes with no head.
I hate to fry shrimp head, It makes oil dirty.
We do not charge for fried head and gets oil dirty right? I just lose money. Or I can say this is good customer services.

This Chilean Sea bass $1300

This is really Oh My God! We just finished our stock and I ordered to the supplier.
They said this Chilean sea bass was huge and need to cut in half.
And this was the only one they carried.
So, I decided to get this fish.
It was 77 lbs and $1300.
I never paid $1300 for tuna and never ordered more than 40 lbs of fish.

By the way, this fish in in danger. It is hard to get.
But the taste is really good. So I just buy if they have it.

Our new Cabernet Sauvignon

Cab with SUSHI? Why not? That’s a personal choice.
One of our customers drinks Cab all the time.
He must be a full body guy.

Anyway, we always buy new wines and change menus.

Halter Ranch, Paso Nobles CA 2007
80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Petit Verdot, 6% Cabernet Franc, 5% Malbec
Blended with small amounts of Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc and Malbec, our 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon boasts a dark ruby color and deeply concentrated aromas of ripe blackcurrant, blackberry and black plum fruit interwoven with scents of earth, sage, and herbal spice. Big, ripe and juicy on the palate, its mouth-filling blackcurrant and dark plum flavors are supported by round, supple tannins that guide the wine through its long, rich and smooth finish. Delicious now with grilled steak and lamb, prime rib, venison stew and other hearty repasts, it will age beautifully for another 7-10 years.
